Product Datasheets
| HBcAb-IgM
Hepatitis B core antibody, also known as anti-HBC, is abbreviated as HBcAb in English. It is also an early sign of acute hepatitis B infection and exists in the serum for a long time. When HBsAg and anti-HBs are negative, hepatitis B core antibodies can be detected in the serum. High-titer hepatitis B core antibodies are also a sign of infection. Anti-hbc can be classified into three types: anti-HBCIGM, anti-HBCIGA, and anti-HBCIGG. In HBV infection, these types appear successively and also disappear successively. Only the IgG type can exist for a long time.| Typical data
As the OD values of the standard curve may vary according to the conditions of the actual assay performance (e.g. operator, pipetting technique, wash technique or temperature effects), the operator should establish a standard curve for each test. Typical standard curve and data are provided below for reference only.
| Repeatability
Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay):CV% < 10%; Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays):CV% < 10%| Recovery
The recovery of Human HBcAb-IgM spiked at three different levels in samples throughout the range of the assay was evaluated in various matrices.| Linearity
Samples were spiked with high concentrations of Human HBcAb-IgM and diluted with Universal Diluent to produce samples with values within the range of the assay.
